Calen Aeézanak is a pen-name for Caleb Teal to keep his far darker work distinct and separate from his main series. This is the truer face of Caleb, where he writes from his dark and alien belief system. While he's not writing, Calen is busy being a god to beings in another universe, communing with his spirit mate, trying to please his many gods, or just being ordinary Caleb Teal.
