Another day, another hunt. I found a giant Korodar beast today which was at least ten meters long from head to rear, and would tower over me if I had been any closer to it. I’ve never seen one so huge. I didn’t even know it existed. Instead of killing it, I simply told the Adjutant to record in at put a tracker on it, I’m certain nature enthusiasts in the Republic would love keeping an eye on this. The adjutant also aided me in injecting it with a micro shield generator. This shield generator will protect the beast from the weapons of the primitive Athakarins, but not modern weapons. That should keep it safe. The Adjutant then forwarded the information to the Republic of Earth Department of Wildlife Sciences.
I know most Athakarins would have tried to kill such a beast. But, I know my limits. That beast would have killed me if I tired. They normally flee when attacked, but most are only a tenth of its size. It probably wouldn’t have been afraid of me in the slightest.
When I got back, I found I earned a monetary reward from the Republic of Earth Department of Wildlife Sciences for finding and protecting such a impressive specimen. The reward was actually quite substantial, nearly three million credits, which is about what I earn in three weeks. I don’t know what I’ll spend it on, but it's nice to be recognized for doing something like that.
