The Cycle of Yvan, 39th cycle of the Month of the Great Sea, 1932 years after Creation / Wednesday, 18th of February 6099
Today while in a meeting with Sylvia and a few others, discussing what our plans for Evelon II should be, a man who simply went by the name Commander Lorca, showed up. First off, I have never heard of a Commander Lorca. Secondly, it seemed Sylvia had, but was the only one. Lorca insisted he wasn’t Black Circle, but he’s a terrible liar.
He pulled me aside to have a ‘chat’ with me. I of course, not wanting to disappear any more than an Agent already is, politely refused. Unfortunately, Sylvia ordered me to do as he said. I don’t know how they found out, but I lied to him about everything he asked, refusing to make it known that I am anything other than a normal human being.
Of course, he pulled up a file of my recent diary entries, which I believe the Adjutant must have given him. I simply told him I was having ‘fantasies’ and writing them down as if they were real. He still didn’t buy it, and started point out ‘evidence’ of a supernatural occurrence in my quarters. I said if he believed that paranormal conspiracy crap was real, he should probably seek mental help, and then proceeded to get back to that meeting before he could make me disappear. In retrospect what I said was probably really insensitive, but I was panicking! I don’t want to give him a reason to make me disappear!
Sylvia was none too impressed by my shouting match with him that could be heard through the walls, but I’m just glad I still exist. There was one thing that he said that freaked me out, something about my parents wouldn’t approve of my behaviour. He explicitly said it in such a way that made it sound like they were still alive. I’m pretty certain he has me confused with someone else, and am filing a complaint with Republic Command about this whole incident.
