The Cycle of Ijar, 3rd cycle of the Month of the Darkness, 1932 years after Creation / Friday, 27th of February 6099
I did it! I broke into the archives and stole the file on Illusive! Sure, this might ruin my career, but it will be worth it to find out what is going on here. I’ve already read through a lot of it. Here’s what I’ve learned so far:
Illusive seems to be a code name for a secret society that has been around since world war III.
During World War III, the Illusive Group was better known as the Seraphim Group.
The original Seraphim Group contained at least 20 individuals, and helped free the Earth from the Yajixa, by exposing them to humanity.
The Seraphim group later had a creative reinterpretation in a novelized format by group member Red Eagle, the muscle of the group and a transgender woman, to appear as only three individuals: herself, Lily, and a non-binary woman named Seraphim. The EIS believe this to be untrue.
The Illusive Group is the evolution of the Seraphim Group, though its members are now in the billions, and are secreted all across the galaxy.
The Illusive Group are extremely secretive and any attempt to capture and interrogate them results in their self vaporization.
The few members of the Illusive Group that have ever been scanned have shown that their bodies are made completely of nanites. This info came during the early 2120s when the first scan of a person claiming to be Illusive was successfully stored without it’s sudden unexplained deletion.
The Illusive group owns almost every coffee company in the galaxy, and the group members also seem to be their biggest clients.
Nearly 30% of the companies and corporations in the galaxy are owned by the Illusive Group, including Takayan Industries and possibly even the Nerafin Consortium, which is scary.
Illusive also controls nearly 80% of the banks in the galaxy, essentially putting the group in charge of the galactic economy.
There was also something else in there about Illusive owning 98% of the wealth in the galaxy, which is also scary.
Anyway, I have been up too late. I have the info I wanted. Tomorrow I’ll hand this over to the Commander and explain I got too curious for my own good due to a recent visit by someone claiming to be Illusive. I know her well enough that since this is my first offence, she’ll let it go. Especially since I confessed about it.
