The Cycle of Zayil, 35th cycle of the Month of the Great Sea, 1932 years after Creation / Saturday, 14th of February 6099
Today I was enjoying the Grand Park of Intelligence City, an outdoor like area inside the city part of the HQ. In truth it’s all indoors, but that’s because the outdoors of Hydra III isn’t exactly conducive to people staying alive. Outside the complex is a nasty thick jungle, filled with carnivorous plants capable of eating the resurrected dinosaurs on Mars. Not only that, but the air is filled with pollen that is toxic to most forms of life.
That jungle of course, was genetically created as a defensive barrier around the Hydra III headquarters to protect it from being attacked or easily infiltrated. However, that was before we knew of the Yajixa’s methods of travel. Sure they more often than not used MELT transports. But when they needed to, they had other methods of just reforming their body wherever they wanted. From what I’ve heard, they call it spirit form travel, some form of teleportation.
I first witnessed a Yajixa when I was quite young. I can’t remember my age exactly, but the Intelligence HQ and connected Intelligence City came under attack one day when I was young. My parents told me and my sister to stay in our rooms and hide under the beds. We didn’t listen. Both of us wanted to see a Yajixa with our own eyes. We not only left our rooms, we left our family’s quarters. We were simply children, but they killed her. They killed my sister, because she tried and failed to attack them.
The Yajixa were supposed to have some sort of law where they couldn’t kill children. That’s what I’ve been told so many times. But the death of my sister disproves that. The Yajixa do kill children, and her blood cries out for vengeance. The Yajixa are monsters, that they would torture and kill her like that. I will never forget what they did to her. And I will never forgive them. Never.
