Today, I'd like to introduce a new set of Character Diaries for Sylvia, Commander of the Earth Intelligence Service. These will be released daily, and will follow Sylvia's journey through Book 1 of Avala Spirits of the Mindscapes.
Now without further ado, here is the first Entry

Subject: Agent Allan Returning to Base with Avala
Today was an eventful day so far. Agent Allan Ali, codenamed Alvaj, Agent# 79307120 was forced to return home from Evelon II today due to his cover being blown. He brought with him a young teenage girl named Avala daughter of Scya that he had been forced to marry in his years there.
Now, I’m certain I don’t have to explain the situation of Evelon II to Republic Command, but since I know half of you are actually just dumb rocks with legs let me remind you. Evelon II, though two thousand years ago was a human colony, is currently under the control of the Yajixa of the Yajiran Empire. They rule the primitives of the Athakarins as gods, with five Yajixa Generals ruling as the supreme gods. They have shaped the society to be a reflection of humanity’s darkest time period, the middle ages, thus young girls are married off to older men regularly.
My predecessor and evil twin, Elexia, ordered Agent Allan to purchase Avala from her parents when she was only eight. The reason for this is still unknown, but I believe she may have known Avala was special. Anyway, we’ve put Agent Allan through interrogation, he hasn’t once abused Avala during his time undercover, which means that no charges will be laid on him for crimes committed during undercover operations for the marriage, which we have records Elexia ordered.
Anyway, Agent Allan had been forced off of Evelon II, and brought Avala with him for her protection. I then took the liberty to recruit her into the war effort to save her people. She is currently just under fourteen earth years old, which is approximately fourteen Athakarin years. I know this is too young according to the laws, thus I hereby invoke the Occupied Resistance Clause which states that any rescued native of a Yajixa occupied world can and will be given a chance to fight to save their world, regardless of age or past crimes.
This actually paid off because guess what? Avala turns out to have been a naturally occurring dormant Yajixa who is now on our side. I did a little digging, and I believe she is a descendant of Milana the Yajixa daughter of the Yajiran Empress Baahla one of the ten immortal Emperors of the Yajiran Empire. As some of you lunkheads are no doubt unaware of, Milana somehow figured out a way how to make all of her descendants Yajixa. Anyway, the Athakri and Avala herself confirm she is on our side.
She will be monumental in fighting against the Yajixa and I hope you can understand my reasoning for making use of her from here on out. And Commander Lorca if your reading this, no, you can not get your hands on her to study her!

Subject: Prophecy About Avala
So if you idiots at Republic Command have already read my last three reports on report number 0000394 for the day, you’ll know about Avala and her heroics so far on ending the Possessed Athakarin Priest Daigix, and the fact the she herself is a Yajixa. However, we have just stumbled across a new piece of information, dating back from the time of the Echarikith!
If you idiots at RC remembered your grade 10 education, you’d know that the Echarikith were an ancient highly advanced precursor race that disappeared three million years ago, however their ruins are literally everywhere! Even much of the Republic’s own technology is based off of their technology, such as the LR-VRPs, and MELT technology.
Now we are also aware, that the Echarikith had a knack for foreseeing the future, very accurately. The Athakarin City of Ecrekio, was built inside a underground cavern city once belonging to the Echarikith that houses many ‘walls of prophecy’ as they are called. Early human research into them had shown quite fascinating information about the accuracy of these prophecies, nearly 100% accuracy by early estimations. However, when we lost the colony of Evelon II, we lost research access.
Since then however, MELT scan technology and HVRP exact replication technology has reached a point where we can once again find and view these prophecies. It only took Avala herself for us to realize the applications of these new advancements. Either way, we found a prophecy about her.
Yes, you lunkheads read that right, a prophecy about Avala herself. It had her Athakarin Birth rings which showed the signs of her birth, and showed her face. The prophecy pretty much said Avala will “awaken the Echarikith after their fall”. I don’t know what that means, but I have a feeling that this may be the start of a new era. One where not only we have a Yajixa on our side, but also potentially the ancient Echarikith returned from where they disappeared to.
Oh, and I’ve already forwarded Republic Command images of all the walls of prophecy we could from Ecrekio, Adjutant EIS is amazing at that. I’ve also gotten her to run a scan on them to see if any others are related to Avala or anyone else we know in the Republic. If we can know the future, we may be able to better win this fight.
And yes Lorca, I sent you a copy as well. Hope your Black Circle makes better use of it, then the Lunkheads at Republic Command.
